This project is funded by the International Center for Non-for-Profit Law. The project is set within the context of political transition before, during and after the Kenya general elections.The use of digital avenues and social media as a platform to exercise the freedom of association, assembly and access to information has taken centre stage during the electioneering period. The project aims to contribute to a safe and enabling environment for Civil Society Organisations during and after the election period in Kenya. The main objectives of the project are:
- To enhance laws and policies for Civil Society Organisations.
- To promote digital and social media security for Civil Society Organisations during and after the election period in Kenya.
