This includes coordinating efforts to strengthen the capacity of civil society actors on values, principles, and systems of good governance. It also supports the establishment or adoption of reference corporate governance standards to enhance members’ accountability practices. Additionally, CFF leads annual reviews of compliance with the established standards for all members and makes timely interventions.
CFF develops a framework for membership and partnership to guide membership growth and partnership engagements during the planning period. To achieve its goal of being a center of excellence on civic space matters, CFF positions itself as a recognized knowledge base in the civic space, providing advisory services, setting the advocacy agenda for members, and serving as a thought leader and innovation powerhouse. This requires strengthening the secretariat’s capacity in knowledge management, monitoring and evaluation, skills, and information management systems.
